Gynaecology is the branch of medicine which deals with diseases of female reproductive organs which mean uterus ,ovaries ,cervix vagina and breast.

Cervical cancer screening – pap smear  and liquid based cytology is simple test to detect cancer of cervix . If any suspicious areas are found on examination or these tests then cervical biopsy should be done .

Hysteroscopy – It is an office procedure to see the cavity of uterus .if patient is having any history of irregular bleeding, infertility or intermenstrual bleeding it can be done along with endometrial biopsy .

Hystrectomy – It is a procedure in which uterus and ovaries are removed in case of any pathology found in these organs .

Ovarian Cystectomy – The removal of cyst that has either solid appear larger than 3 inches in diameter ,has possibility to become cancerous or causes constant pain.cysts can be removed without removing the ovary .
